Jason Parker

Jason Parker is the blogger behind “Note from the Road.”  While he has been traveling his whole life, it became a way of life for him about 25 years ago.  Today, as the owner of a small company, Jason still criss crosses the U.S. and, for the past 12 years, travels around the globe to both glamorous destinations and dull ones alike.

This blog is about life on the road.  There are better blogs about credit card bonuses, frequent flyer program ins and outs, and the like.  While we may touch on those topics here, the weekly cadence of life on the road is what drives the content on this blog.

I thought this might be of interest to you. It is from a few months ago, but important information for travelers.

    Jason,

    Enjoy and appreciate your notes.

I was stung with a recent flight I took stateside to the UK. The ticket price was high, so I would have never thought the fare was not “creditable”.

The Hotel 57 sounds nice, have you stayed at the St. Pancras?

    Cheers

      SL,

Interestingly enough, I will be reviewing the St. Pancras in the upcoming weeks based on a recent stay. And, the best part of the story is that I didn’t even have to pay for my room because a close friend of mine lost an ill-considered bet with me on American History. I’ll include that story in the review.

      Jason

I don’t think you need to tell that story…however I like the sound of the guy. Living up to a bet is honorable.
